Diver-friendly Asia Airlines?
Reply Quote

Lately, I find that most airlines have removed the free luggage allowance for sporting equipment. That means if I want to bring clothes & my scuba gear, I need to pay heft additional weight charges just for the 'privelage' of bringing my own equipment.

The irony is that without the ability to scuba dive, I would not be traveling in the first place. I believe I am like many who find uisng their own gear to be much more comfortable and safe, than destination rental gear.

Please share your experiences as it relates to traveling with your own gear ...
