Hi,
Thought I'd let everyone know that I went to this dive site at Tokong Burong over the vesak day long weekend. Its about a one hour boat ride from the southern end of Tioman in the direction of mainland. You can actually see the rock outcrop on the horizon from Tioman. The depth is around 18 to 20m and the place is really like a coral garden. Quite an intersting dive site compared to the usual fare from Tioman island itself. Not many operators will go there because its quite far. Mostly only live-aboards, but there is one dive operator who will bring you there from Tioman itself.
I enjoyed it also because we were the only ones there with no other divers apart from us. Current was mild to moderate and we could do a leisurely drift dive there as well.
On the whole something different.
Hi Nitox 15,
How did you discover this site? Which operator did you go with?
