09-22-2005, 11:15 AM Alex Joined on:09-21-2005 Singapore Posts 24 Hi Everybody Hi everybody, my name is Alex and I am living in Singapore since nearly 2 years now. Just shortly after our arrival here I started together with my wife SCUBA diving and now - here we are. So far we clocked 60 dives and can't get enought. Singapore is just too perfect located in the heart of some of the world most beautiful dive sites. So far we have visited places like Manado, Redang, Tengoll, Dayang, Tioman, Phuket and Similan islands will follow over new year. Happy diving to everybody.    Report

Some people are saying going for one wall dive after the other becomes boring after a while - well it's a matter of taste but I have spend 5 days at Manado (Bunaken Marine Park) and I have never felt boring. This great walls covered by beautifull corals are just great - could not get enought of that stuff. One day we have spent at Lembeh Strait and that was above all expectations - that's a freak show. So see so manny totaly "strange" creatures down there like on another planet (ok - somehow it is). You will defenetly not regreet going to that place. I can't say too much about Sipadan but everybody I talked to and who was there was telling me excited stories about that place - guess it is realy great. I maybe go there in wk44 this year - hope I am able to take some days off - let's see. But in case you are searching something closer to S'pore I can also recomend to go for a liveaboard around Tioman. I did this 1 month back and I was very positevely suprised. We have seen a lot of living softcoralls and huge seefans - the marine life was also quite good. have a nice day    Report
