Rained whole of last week I was in Phuket. The locals say it was extremely unusual, some blaming it on the typhoon in Vietnam.
Dived Koh Bida Nai and Bida Nok around Phi Phi island, which was ok. The speedboat ride there was VERY bumpy and wet, so take those seasick pills if you are prone to sea sickness.
The King Cruiser wreck, Anemone reef and Koh Doc Mai seemed better, esp Koh Doc Mai.
Was impressed with the quality of service of the dive shop/rental equipment and the local DMs, very happy, and definately will go back. The dive operator I went with is Marina Divers.
