Having been a diver for many years I can honestly say that I am as much at fault as anyone else when it comes to diving without having any idea where the nearest decompression chamber is.
Quiet honestly as a youngster I didnt really care that much, and when i got a problem I just hung on a shot line weather it was day or night, now I am a bit older, thats the understatement of the year, I have become somewhat more careful in what I do and where, I personnaly dont fancy getting the bends a 1000 miles from nowhere so I have given the live aboards a miss.
But I think I am about to change my mind if what a friend has just sent me, a link to a website that I think is going to change all that www.divealive.co.uk,
I have looked at several other manufacturers of portable decompression chambers in the past and thought no, I could pay off my morgage for what they cost, or, dam that isnt going to work when i need it, well this lot seem to have cracked the price and the robustness needed to get me in one, it even looks simple to use, never a bad thing when your over 40. lololol
Next stop.
does anyone have one out there and can you give me a run down on if they work.
Thanks.
